This back exercise is a must and very important for building a lot of calorie burning muscle. Using the cable system allows someone work up to a body weight chin up and it also allows the more advanced to target and squeeze their back muscles.
Although Chin Ups are primarily considered a back exercise it is also a great secondary bicep exercise. Doing chin ups can really help develop, strength, tone and build the biceps.
It is important to hold the body very still and not to round the back when pulling the bar down. Good posture with a tight core, chest up and avoiding swinging and other momentum is important.
